Perhaps a patriot could find the occasional position taken by Tom McClintock over which to condemn him. Politicians, even the best of them, are merely human, thus fallible. Like Ron Paul, and Jim DeMint, McClintock will make 95+% good sense, yet be ignored by by the ignorant from both wings of the bicameral ruling party, and condemned for villains by both the proudly evil who inhabit the halls of power and communication, and by those for whom only perfection will suffice.
I contend that a congress of decent folk, who respect the obligatory limitations inherent in the oaths of loyalty to the constitution which creates their offices, would harm the Republic, if at all, only to an extent, and only at a slow enough pace, that a populace of thoughtful Citizens could remedy before the damage became permanent.
Alas, we have neither such Citizenry, nor (fittingly) such congress, but a sheepizenry generally lusting for all of the stolen benefits their pimp CONgress can falsely promise to supply.
McClintock does his best in a derelict CONgress to make sense to colleagues, most of whom are bored with good sense, and disdainful of decency. Had California voters more intelligence than greed, we could have chosen him for governor, the only candidate who actually understood the state's financial peril, and had worked out a program to avert it. Instead we got -- as an accurate representation of the declining mental and moral state of the average California voter -- a foreign-born, philandering, hack movie "actor," who idolizes the politics of Europe and apparently wants nothing more than enhanced notoriety.
Mirroring California's intelligence and morality, the entire nation has outfitted itself with the last word in disloyal pimp governments -- not that next time, they couldn't outdo themselves without half trying.

Wikileaks Flap
Even the loudest neocons and handwringing "progressives" who are clamoring for Julian Assange's head on a pike, have not accused him of telling lies. On the contrary, the worst charge these two-legged cockroaches are able to come up with -- the worst charge they can imagine -- is that he is telling the truth, because what he publishes is themselves, in their own words(!)
"Oooh, oooh! We can't handle the truth! (because we've been lying about almost everything, with almost every word we've ever uttered)." (Poor babies!) What would be the worst outcome? The liars would be discredited, and lose power? Hard to see how it helps me for them slither away with their lies and stay in power.
I don't know Mr. Assange. I doubt that his motives are truly pure. But so what? Even the Devil ends up doing the Lord's work, in the long run, whether he means to or not. Assange is certainly no worse than the villains he embarrasses, and probably a whole lot better.

Please help me understand. I don't get how it can be that, with their prosperity and liberty (such as it may be) visibly crumbling around them, the various people of the world cannot bring themselves to realize that as long as they allow their governments to borrow into existence the only legal medium of exchange they are allowed to use (central bank debt as "money") not only can they never get out of debt, they must also inexorably go ever further in the hole.
It seems to me that at some level, they all understand that they are being scammed, robbed, and ultimately enslaved, to pay a debt that can never get smaller, and absolutely must grow with every passing day. I get the impression that most people have already decided to accept chains and razor wire, in preference to studying long enough, and thinking hard enough to get a handle on the impending foreclosure of their lives.
Why? I know they're not all geniuses, certainly not even all high school graduates. But it doesn't take brilliance to realize that if the "money" to pay the interest on the debt wasn't created when the "money" of the debt was created, then there can't be enough to repay that debt with interest when it falls due. Are they hoping to stick someone else with the interest charges, or counting on the "lender" to be a nice guy and forgive it? Nothing in most people's life experiences would make either seem realistic.
Yet I can't quite wrap my mind around, "Get out of the house today? Nah -- come back tomorrow, Sheriff. I'm watching 'Oprah,' right now." How can anyone be nonchalant about the prospect of being put out on the street? Of going without food and water? Of being jacked up and groped by uniformed thugs for a trip to the market?
Are they crazy? Or am I?
(Got a reply) First you dumb down the sheeple -- then you shear them.

Okay, I get that. But most of the people with whom I work (for example) while mostly not geniuses, aren't especially challenged by the necessity to read, write, or do simple arithmetic. They're apparently bright enough to comprehend the truth, if not to figure it out all by themselves. They appear to either willfully refrain from researching or thinking, or to consider it unnecessary.
I guess it's the lasting effect of the Public Fool System: their "authorities" have convinced them that (a) it's too hard for ordinary people like themselves to understand, (b) their efforts would be better directed to devising a truly effective rearrangement of the deck chairs on this particular Titanic, and, (c) even if they were to perversely persist, and come to their own understanding, they would have thereby violated some unwritten protocol. placing themselves beyond the bounds of polite society.
Oh well ....

Consider it already burned, and yourself already conquered
For those whose attention was diverted by the opening of school, football season, or the “new” TV programs, when the entire population of the United States was threatened with random killing, the Federal government made a point of visibly and audibly backing down in our name, making the point that burning a Koran is distinctly unlike burning a Bible, a Torah, a Bhagavad-Gita, or other religious holy book -- something that happens every day (mostly by Muslim governments) without retaliation.
Rightly or wrongly, Muslims have accepted blame for the 9-11 outrage, and now use it as a Jihad recruiting tool, to such extent that the US military openly worries that any action by any American perceived as insulting to Islam will further imperil their troops. Let there be no controversy: Islam now dictates what every last citizen -- every last resident of the USA, legal or not -- may do as regards Islam in particular, and Muslims in general. No other religion wields such power or control over the US government.
Whether Rev. Jones' initial Koran-burning threat was self-serving or not, the fallout makes several key points:

Whether Rev. Jones' initial Koran-burning threat was self-serving or not, the fallout makes several key points:
- Islam is intensely collectivist – punishing any random American, or many of them) for what is perceived as the offense of another, satisfies the islamic sense of “justice” fully as well as punishing the offender; (Could this be why the politcal Left has an affinity with Islam that it has with no other religion?)
- Islam has put the entire world on notice that it considers mere persuasion too cowardly a way to spread the faith – its adherents intend to spread it by conquest alone;
- Most governments (and most notably, that of the United States) have already accorded a special “kid-gloves” treatment to Islam: they would never concede as much to any other religion.

You are all under arrest!
Here's my theory: According to the fudds, we're all felons, though in most cases, they have no history, no paperwork, to show individual conviction. Yes, they'll back off ... for now ... if we hire attorneys to show we're serious, because they're not ready to start herding us into the FEMA "detention" camps, just yet.
When they amended the "Trading With The Enemy" Act (1933?) to remove the exception for US citizens, every citizen of the corporation became automatically its "enemy," at birth. They no longer had need to seek conviction in court. (Stroke of the pen -- law of the land ... Kinda cool." ~ Paul Begala)
This doesn't necessarily mean they intend to lock us all up (except in the sense that the entire nation is becoming one vast prison.) They need for us to create goods and services they can grab, since they create nothing of value, and have no intention to "lower" themselves to doing so. But our enemy status means they can take from us whatever they want, whenever they want it -- legally. Hence tax increases, O-care, universal servitude, the coming bankruptcy of Social Insecurity and Medicare, "necessitating" the mass pension grab. You name it, they can take it -- legally.
They don't yet dare to declare, point blank, our legal, though unconstitutional, slavery to the fedgov, because too many of us are still armed, and insufficiently misinformed. But when enough people have been sweet-talked/BS'ed out of their arms, enough combat brigades, expert at house-to-house searches, have been returned to the USSA to execute upon the already assembled database, and just the perfect false-flag "homegrown terrorist" op has been set up to dovetail with all of their profit-making, power-grabbing objectives at once, resistance to any Executive Order will be a capital crime with no warrant or trial needed, no defense possible ....
Expect it! Aim small -- miss small

Note to Drug Warriors
Close the DEA, and fold the BATF, and the IRS into it, for good measure; reduce the FDA to prosecuting false claims and fraud.
Since the laws making various psychoactive substances illegal were passed, the illicit drug trade has only grown, turning a minor problem that affected less that one precent of the nation's population into a trillion dollar industry affecting more than ten percent, and that's not counting the $$ spent on "enforcement," "justice," and encarceration.
Yeah, I know, like cancer, there are probably more people making a living on it than are dying of it, but so what? Does anybody expect that someday, the narcotraficantes will surrender? That the junkies will decide to come clean -- as a result of all this handomely paying drug war? And what will the preachers do when the Devil is saved?
Give me a break! You're an adult(?) and want to poison yourself recreationally? Knock yourself out -- literally. You want to sell that ~!@#$%^&* to my grandkids? I'll kill you myself!
Enough jive! It ain't working for those of us who don't sell it, use it, chase it, litigate it, or pretend to jail it (ex-cons tell me there's often "better" drugs in prison, than on the street.) Dump the whole stupid concept of pretending to "fight" the source of your new Mercedes. Go find an honest job!
