Oh, I know what you're thinking: "Must be a trap -- why would they want criminals?" But you're not just any criminals -- you're non-American criminals! In fact, studies have shown that you're very likely to be anti-American criminals, and that's your special charm. San Francisco is vying to be the world center of hatred for America, and its former anti-communist stance. You could play a central part in this exciting ongoing development.
A little piece of advice: Though this will eventually change, currently, San Francisco politicians must now get elected by their voters, who uncharacteristically, still take a dim view of their government openly encouraging crime, at least against certain "protected classes." So you must avoid raping, robbing, or murdering other, ah, "undocumented" immigrants, members of other minorities, and members of the LGBT community (ask a friend to explain it.)
As long as you confine your efforts on behalf of the revolution (you may not think of crime that way, but San Francisco does) to the un-protected class (gringos, honkies, preferably males between the ages of 18 and 62) and refrain from using an un-silenced firearm, you should encounter no problems that a good pro-bono attorney would not be able to eventually surmount, in the unlikely event that you are apprehended. If you find it necessary to dispatch a member of one of the protected groups, either lure them out of town, or do it very quietly, so as to draw minimal notice.

The Quixotic Appeal of Communism/Socialism
I have finally come to an understanding of the persistent, mysterious appeal of communism/socialism despite its perennial failure to deliver the material prosperity it always promises in order to sell itself: it's like injecting heroin. It is something one engages in, not for what it ultimately accomplishes, but for how it makes one feel to be doing it at the time. One who has been taught to value feelings above thought, and indoctrinated to believe that inequality is inherently evil, will accept or do almost anything that promises equality -- even in poverty and decline -- in preference to horrid inequality -- even in wealth and improvement.
No feedback is allowed. Comparing results to promises would be bourgeois treason. Besides, the proponents, quite realistically, admit that the process of getting to the promised "nirvana" will be hellish anyway, so when millions suffer and die, the prediction only seems all the more accurate. Since the goal is total equality, why worry if all it produces is misery leading to death? The more widespread the suffering, the greater the equality, reaching perfection in death. By those lights, worse actually is better, and there's no such thing as "too far left."
As to whether some supernatural malign power guides and directs such activity, or if mere human malice aforethought is all that is necessary, I cannot say. But the results, in either case, are indistinguishable.

Hope, Change, and the National Election
If some unkind soul had spiked your feet to the floor and left you standing in pain, you'd probably be ready for change. If I then approched you with a toolbag, from which was protruding a long crowbar with claws for pulling spikes, and asked you if you'd like a change, you'd probably say, "Yes!", presuming that I was bringing the change for which you had hoped.
Suppose I told you that before I could make that change, you'd need to prove that you were really serious about change, by clasping your hands behind your back. Even if you didn't understand why, you'd probably do it, hoping to speed that change.
If I then swiftly bound your wrists with duct tape, stuffed a dirty sock into your mouth, bound it with more duct tape, and began to beat you over the head and shoulders with the crowbar, you'd recognize the change all right, but you'd probably be disappointed. Blindly accepting unspecified change is a lousy way to get what you want.
Our President-elect recently stated that the U.S. Constitution (from which he would draw his authority), "reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day," With our hands now bound, let's hope he'll pull those spikes ... but get ready to duck that crowbar!

How Politics Really Works
A Realistic (if Cynical) Guide for the Aspiring Modern Politician
- Most of what you (and everyone else) have been told – at school, in the media, and most of all, by politicians – is false. But you already understand this, or you would not aspire to politics.
- Economics 101: For nothing …you get nothing. Promise much. Deliver what you must. Break your opponents’ eggs to make your omelet.
- Politics 101: If your constituents don’t have a problem, you have a problem: without problems, who needs politicians?
- Politics 102: There is almost no political profit from keeping promises. Getting elected is all about promising "more," always at the expense of "someone else." The profit to the politician is an immediate increase in power from a lavish promise which will only be "kept someday" (if ever.) Since sheeple are blind to the loss of their own power, and since they refuse to believe that they are the “someone else,” they can be "re-lied" (to/upon) almost indefinitely.
- Politics 103: When the king has rape on his mind, he wants all asses bare. Politics means getting the sheeple to pull down their own knickers and bend over in the belief that they will be better off for it.
- Remember the “Golden Rule”: Who has the gold makes the rules (and hires/fires politicians.) Don’t forget who you’re really working for. As the world’s second oldest profession, politics bears many similarities to the oldest, but you won’t spend as much time on your back.
- Don’t expect to rise in politics and remain clean. The guys with the gold won’t invest in you unless they hold some embarrassing (career-ending) collateral.
- No useful falsehood is really a lie unless you can be penalized for uttering it. A constituency which strives to get away with as much thievery and mischief as it can, will excuse an almost infinite amount of the same in its politicians.
- Moral people are hard to rule – structure your programs to play to the larceny of your constituents. Agitate for laws that must be broken to be survived.
- Don’t sweat anyone’s confusion but your own, and don’t con yourself about what you want. In times of great confusion, the politician whose goals are clear can generally get what he/she wants.
- Nobody is so utterly useless that he/she cannot be utilized as a horrible example.
- Cultivate a few knowledgeable friends who themselves have such acquaintances, as can be relied on to unbidden, proactively execute the occasionally necessary clandestine task, quietly, efficiently, and without fanfare, (or acknowledgement, for that matter.) Keep the need for such services as low as possible, especially early in your career, but never forget that your opponents have similar contacts.
- Since their capacity to cause new harm is at an end, dead politicians are easier to love than living ones. Let your heirs proclaim your sainthood. If you would be a politician, pursue power. If you want to be loved, be a firefighter.

This rant is in response to: UNITED STATES-RUSSIAN MERGER: A DONE DEAL? in which appears this accurate, but animating, statement: "Unfortunately, the deliberate dumbing down and creation of moral chaos in America has created a shortage of 21st Century Ciceros who could warn the American people ...."

The "deliberate dumbing down and creation of moral chaos" has also created a much larger shortage of 21st Century Citizens who could understand, or would bother to listen to, their Ciceros. The Public Fool System works almost perfectly to mentally and morally disarm the unsuspecting stoogents, regardless of whatever implements of battle they may eventually possess. Like sheep in a clover field, absorbed with petty distractions, they have no time for, nor interest in, the future being readied for them. They just "wanna play." So they play stupid.
"But we're honest and (at least, until our jobs went overseas) hardworking. We don't deserve to be robbed of our life savings, nor thrown out of our (overpriced) homes. It's not fa-a-a-a-air!"
Yeah, it's probably not "fa-a-a-a-air" that every picosecond of your existence, multiple teams of Rat B@st@rds the world over (especially here at home) are devoting every waking moment of their lives to taking from you everything you could ever possibly have -- honor, self-respect, progeny (and probably, oxygen), notwithstanding. But if you think that's an exaggeration, and refuse to look into the matter, you merit every last scrap of your destruction, fair or not.
With few exceptions, you Sheepizens are ruled by such throughgoing Wolves, that were they capable of being even slightly more your enemies, their oversized canine teeth would permanently overhang their lips and tongue, they'd develop hairy, upright ears, and bushy, vulpine tails, and they'd howl at the moon. A Lawful Order
Officer Friendly died decades ago, and we didn't even mourn his passing. These days, either as an economy measure, or simply because those "in charge" are as ignorant (or as contemptuous) of the concept of constitutional limits as those they supervise, many police departments are hiring marginally literate bullies, whose only alternate career would be the other (illegal) kind of street thug.
Such a cop is ill prepared to heed (or even to comprehend) the notion that the badge does not automatically legitimize whatever ill-considered command should manage to escape his sneering mouth, however garbled, self-contradictory, or impossible to accomplish, it may be. Once uttered, whatever he managed to say instantly becomes "law," and as such, can never be withdrawn, lest he lose "control" of the situation.
Consequently, they have no compunctions (beyond the supervisory demand for written reports) about immediately escalating to deadly force whenever the subject of their attentions fails to instantaneously acquiesce. They are utterly unprepared to brook even the briefest hesitation, let alone dispute.
"Rights? Hah! I got yer rights, right here in my sidearm, citizen! You don't look like someone who could survive arrest, anyway."
Exercise your rights of course, but know in which jurisdictions to be prepared to be maimed or terminated on the spot for daring to look like you might have been thinking about doing so. Welcome to the USSA!

Continuing the Public Fool System matter: A friend in town replied to my wife: "You are correct that Obama's change will ruin this country. Hope there will be a movement to write in Ron Paul's name."

Unfortunately, it's probably not big enough ... yet. (These days, it would have to be so big, and its strength so well-publicized, that the commie vote counters couldn't get away with "restructuring" the vote count.) Many Republicans are as corrupt as the Democrats they complain about, though sometimes they choose different corruptions. But as long as most sheeple in both parties are products of the Public Fool System, it's hard to see how things can be otherwise.

The 2000 House election resulted in a net change of only four seats (+1 for the Democrats, -2 for the Republicans, and the electing of an additional independent). In total 98% of all incumbents were reelected, and this was not unusual." (my emphasis)
Sadly, typical. I sometimes have a hard time understanding that voters generally don't lay the blame for bad government at the feet of government ... until I reflect that I was processed through the same Public Fool System -- often by teachers who themselves were similarly processed a generation earlier.
The Public Fool System works far too well. We who are thereby sheepified, "graduate" unable to perceive how little we really understand the actual workings of the political/economic world, unable to recognize when our kids are being indoctrinated, mentally disarmed, and taught to despise learning in general, so that the conditioning is cumulative, becoming almost impossible to overcome. We intellectually blind often do not even suspect how much we cannot see. (Your mileage may vary.)
Since (partially) awakening, I have tried (to almost no avail) to interest my fellow sheepizens to take thoughtful political action (e.g., voting for "unpopular" -- but honest [non-socialist] -- candidates, for or against various ballot measures.) My effort is inevitably outweighed by the Inertia Twins, Apathy and Ignorance. Sheeple vote for names they recognize -- even when the only reason they recognize those names is: that's who shafted them last time around!
Either they're ashamed to admit their mistake, or it's analogous to Aesop's fable about how the mice voted to tie a bell around the cat's neck, so he couldn't sneak up on them. Problem was, they never found a hero-mouse brave enough to volunteer, and they wouldn't team up to do it -- too risky! Oh well! ....
George W. Sockpuppet ("The Decider") is a fitting prez for such a nation. Sadly, his successor will be likewise.

Preaching to the Choir
Among people who undertstand that the fedgov is really "ripping off" the Citizens, it is common to pass around "horror stories" illustrating the point. Here's one forwarded by a friend:
(I responded:) It angers me as it does you, but to whom would one logically forward it? To other likeminded friends and acquaintances? Are they not usually as aware of this and similar problems as we? I'd rather not waste the bandwidth to remind my friends of something they already know: we are so screwed.
To whom would one logically complain? -- To the beneficiaries? You've just read typical responses from those who come here to "cash in" rather than to "join up." Their numbers are increasing, and "our" government only increases the inducements.
-- To the socialist/communist schools whose brainchild and sustenance this is? Imagine how unhappy they'd be to hear that they're slowly ruining you and undermining your country, when all their adult lives they've been advocating your undoing and the overthrow of your nation (but lacking the cajones to do their own "wet work".)
-- To the socialist/communist/fascist who "represents" me (or you) in CONgress? Oh, that'll get 'em right ... er ... somewhere! They're not THAT stupid. Think they don't appreciate the function of the Public Fool System? Think they don't understand that they've been selling you out since they first got a seat on the Planning Commission? That's how they "earn" the elitist backing to run for office in the first place. If they screw up and give you more than skillfully parsed BS, they'll be out of a job next election.
There's only one thing they do understand, and that's a landslide of votes for someone decent (so they can't "adjust" the vote count in a close election.) Well, there's another ... technique that's ultimately as effective, but it's frowned on in our oversocialized society, though it may eventually become the only realistic alternative. It is way too late for business as usual. If you can't afford the time/money commitment to make a new career of fighting well-heeled rats in the political arena (I know I can't), keep your powder dry until the national collapse, and have your bugout bag packed and getaway car fueled. Minimize your "contributions" to their schemes. Make plans for whatever you think is coming. It will.

This from a University professor:
This is a subject close to my heart. Do you know that we have adult students at the school where I teach who are not US citizens and who get the PELL grant, which is a federal grant (no pay back required) plus other federal grants to go to school?
One student from the Dominican Republic told me that she didn't want me to find a job for her after she finished my program, because she was getting housing from our housing department and she was getting PELL grant which paid for her total tuition and books, plus money left over.
She was looking into WAIT which gives students a CREDIT CARD for gas to come to school, and into CARIBE which is a special program for immigrants and it pays for child care and all sorts of needs while they go to school or training.
The one student I just mentioned told me she was not going to be a US citizen because she plans to return to the Dominican Republic someday and that she 'loves HER country.'
I asked her if she felt guilty taking what the US is giving her and then not even bothering to become a citizen and she told me that it doesn't bother her, because that is what the money is there for!
I asked the CARIBE administration about their program and if you ARE a US citizen, you don't qualify for their program. And all the while, I am working a full day, my son-in-law works more than 60 hours a week, and everyone in my family works and pays for our education.
Something is WRONG HERE, Right?????

Why the Fuss About Global Warming?

The same leftist political stripe of people (in some cases, the identical people, e.g., Paul and Anne Ehrlich) who in the '70s, made a lot of noise about the impending "Ice Age," began screaming in the '90s about "Global Warming." After a few cold years cooled that concept, the greenies began to beat the drum for the latest bugaboo, "Climate Change" (which, if memory serves, is what we unenlightened usually call, "weather.")
Oddly enough, their cure for all three putative ills turns out to be the same: de-industrializing and impoverishing the uSA and its allies, at least down to the level of, say, the Peoples' Paradises of China and Russia. Of course greenies believe themselves to be fighting the (evil) multinational corporations.
Odder than that though, great trusts, controlled by the (same, evil) owners of multinational corporations, names like Ford, Carnegie, Rockefeller, fund the environmentalist organizations, making it possible for them to afford to harangue politicians, scare the public, etc. Might the multinationals and the enviros share some undisclosed interests? But a politician, however scientifically savvy, who fails to reflect the political conclusions of his/her constituency is not long for the office. And a corporation which fails to be owned by "informed people" is ripe for the takeover.
Of course America’s (relatively) stringent -- therefore expensive -- environmental regulations have done their part, along with inflated wages, to chase the evil manufacturing from American shores, to places like China, Russia, India, so much so, that the only remaining stick with which the enviro-saints can effectively beat their unholy fellow Americans, is that at least so far, most of us have been able to continue purchasing (foreign-made) consumer goods, because the prices have been relatively low. (This will change.)
Of course with all of the voluminous (7,000+ pages, in some cases) "Free Trade" agreements of the past decade, "America's" major industrial corporations were able to make the necessary moves abroad early and profitably, leaving their competitors wondering how they got left behind until they were taken over, the uSA less able to defend itself, Americans less able to keep up payments on the car and house, but overall, less blameworthy for the horrors of climate change (except for the CO2 we continue to guiltily exhale.)
Global warming/climate change is but one of the strategies that have been employed to impoverish America unto bankruptcy. Why would international bankers want to do that? Well, why would they want to have caused the last (Great) depression? the last two world wars? many other smaller ones? WWII was a cost-plus orgy, and once we were in it, had to be that way. Nobody wanted to lose. Whether the slimy deals made, and dirty tricks pulled, by certain Americans and allegedly "American" organizations in the years leading up to that war, may have helped to make it "necessary," is another matter.
Moreover, when a great nation undergoes a major depression, tremendous "buying opportunities" are created for those with deep pockets and either (1) fantastic luck, (2) extreme prescience, or (3) inside information. Many great old fortunes were tremendously enhanced in the wartime decade following the "Great Depression."
Over and above the profits to be reaped from wars and from impoverishing people, once a great nation becomes involved in war or bankrupted, major changes in its laws and political structure are far easier to effect, especially by those who knew what to expect, and had a well-developed strategy for how to "play it."
Hegelian dialectic is not merely for forcing a conclusion in a debate. Sufficient preparation brings about an undesireable condition as "thesis," strategic planning offers an equally undesireable opposite condition as "antithesis", impelling the desperate to choose the desired (prearranged) compromise (snare) deal as "synthesis."
Example: A consortium of banks and corporations offers loans for development to Nation X at a hopeful time in its history, temporarily ignoring its shaky economy, promising a bright future for its enhanced export capacities. Once the deal is signed, and the development built, other nations (coincidentally?) put up stiff competition, lowering the price of the exported goods, leading to default on the loan, and resumed (worsened) poverty for Nation X, and disgrace for its overly optimistic leaders. "Not to worry," say the bankers, "We'll refinance the loan on manageable terms, but you'll need to make a few changes in collateral. All of those publicly-owned properties like hydro-electric dams, water-supply facilities, roads, bridges, harbors will need to be 'privatized' (sold to us on favorable terms.) Etc."
In a nation where the people are (a) used to believing that they have a right to say what their government does and, (b) armed, such moves cannot be made too quickly or overtly. Allowances must be made, and plans laid, to fool and/or disarm those who would mount effective opposition. But once a man is forced to focus all of his waking hours on keeping his family housed and fed, he has little time, energy, or money to spend in opposition, especially when he is offered a plausible (if B___S___) explanation for why his former trade must be sent abroad, and his earnings increasingly taxed.
The multinationals have not only not decreased their global output of CO2 ,and pollutants, they've increased them, by moving the production to nations where the energy production is less efficient and dirtier, and emission standards are a joke, if not non-existent. And their profits are just fine, thank you very much. Witness Halliburton's move to Dubai.
The simultaneity and interdependence of (1) the Public Fool System, the world's premiere sheeple factory; (2) the collapse of the dollar and with it, pension plans; (3) the disappearance of jobs paying traditional American wages; (4) the unwritten -- but obvious -- invitation to outlaw border-crossers to become replacement "Americans;" (5) the repeal of ordinary bankruptcy laws; (6) the draconian -- but as yet unused -- federalized/militarized police forces trained in urban warfare, martial law, detention camps; (7) the spying on ordinary people, tracking their finances, and pushing for spychip IDs; (8) the advent of designer diseases, (9) the moves to create a federalized healthcare system wherein once the government refuses to provide care, one has no legal alternative but suffering and death; all could be mistaken as preparatory steps for "instant police state," to someone with a suspicious turn of mind.
Fortunately, I am a trusting soul. I rely on the fact that no such thing has ever happened here before, and am thereby reassured that my imagination has merely run wild for an hour or so. Now, back to the solid reality that is the land of the free and the home of the brave!
I can't figure why the big multinationals need to stop or slow CO2 emissions - it's essential to their profits and their way of life.
It should be obvious that the fuss about the human role in global warming is political - reality doesn't seem to enter into it. And, politicians, world wide, work directly or indirectly (mostly directly) for the multinationals (including drug dealers, who may be also be working for the larger corporations.) So why the fuss about global warming? What am I missing here? Any ideas?

The same leftist political stripe of people (in some cases, the identical people, e.g., Paul and Anne Ehrlich) who in the '70s, made a lot of noise about the impending "Ice Age," began screaming in the '90s about "Global Warming." After a few cold years cooled that concept, the greenies began to beat the drum for the latest bugaboo, "Climate Change" (which, if memory serves, is what we unenlightened usually call, "weather.")
Oddly enough, their cure for all three putative ills turns out to be the same: de-industrializing and impoverishing the uSA and its allies, at least down to the level of, say, the Peoples' Paradises of China and Russia. Of course greenies believe themselves to be fighting the (evil) multinational corporations.
Odder than that though, great trusts, controlled by the (same, evil) owners of multinational corporations, names like Ford, Carnegie, Rockefeller, fund the environmentalist organizations, making it possible for them to afford to harangue politicians, scare the public, etc. Might the multinationals and the enviros share some undisclosed interests? But a politician, however scientifically savvy, who fails to reflect the political conclusions of his/her constituency is not long for the office. And a corporation which fails to be owned by "informed people" is ripe for the takeover.
Of course America’s (relatively) stringent -- therefore expensive -- environmental regulations have done their part, along with inflated wages, to chase the evil manufacturing from American shores, to places like China, Russia, India, so much so, that the only remaining stick with which the enviro-saints can effectively beat their unholy fellow Americans, is that at least so far, most of us have been able to continue purchasing (foreign-made) consumer goods, because the prices have been relatively low. (This will change.)

Where I'm Coming From
Here’s where I'm "coming from." Dismiss me as you will, but not (I hope) without examination.
1. The country has been systematically sold out over decades by many (most?) of those of both parties who swore oaths "to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign or domestic." Often, as soon as they were sworn in, they became the very domestic enemies they swore to guard against, by taking actions specifically prohibited by the Constitution. Why? Because anyone who chooses to make a career as a politician soon realizes that re-election, not to mention rising to higher office, depends on keeping on the good side of those who provide the campaign funds, and who control the organs of publicity -- newspapers, magazines, radio and TV networks. "Ya gotta dance with them who brung ya."
Few aspiring politicians, even very decent people (just like the rest of us) are such lifelong saints that they would wish to have every last detail of their lives minutely examined in public. Take any officeholder, present or past, and with enough detail of some past error revealed (and magnified and repeated endlessly) in the press, on talk shows, and on the nightly news, and eventually a majority of the public would come to believe that the true essence of that person would be accurately represented by that amplified screw-up.
For example, JFK, a veteran, war hero, and much-beloved president at the time of his death, has come to be known best by the current generation, as a skirt-chasing horn-dog, and if not exactly deserving of assassination, at least marginalized to the extent, that the underlying motives to kill him are so little understood, that anyone who fails to accept the specious conclusions of the Warren Report, point blank, is dismissed as a nut.
So nobody gets to the point of being a viable candidate for high office without first being vetted by people who own the networks and major newspapers, nor without making the kinds of promises that can get them $bazillions to spend on the campaign. Those who can provide such funds and influence are deep insiders, heirs to centuries-old mega-fortunes. They own or control not only networks, newpapers, and magazines, but banks, munitions, drug, oil, and chemical companies, among others. They are able not only to profit from wars, regardless of who "wins," but to profit from bankrupting nations, then buying up the distressed assets on the cheap. They own entire governments.
We get to choose (at least major party-supported candidates) only from among people who have already mortgaged their future offices, if they haven’t sold their souls outright. I suspect that people without secret, well-documented, but inflammatory ("useful"), embarrassments in their pasts, don’t rise very far.
There is also a valid question whether votes, electronically tallied (in some cases, by machines with modems and internet connections) without a verifiable trace, necessarily represent the true vote of the citizens, especially in districts where dead people and illegal aliens vote.
2. I believe and contend, on the basis of the reading I have done, that America has been tricked and maneuvered into its wars (at least since the Revolution) for the purposes of enhancing the political control over her affairs of (not to mention further enriching) certain ultra-wealthy banking families. True, our military has risen gallantly to the challenges, and acquitted itself honorably -- even in those wars where obviously they have been prevented from winning, by the decisions and actions of the civilian authority. But clearly, some agenda, aside from the publicly asserted purposes, has been the true interest in the Korean and Vietnam wars. I count the present wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (not to mention the one they are trying to ignite in Iran) in that category.
You may accept the self-contradictory official stories of the 9-11 attack in New York and D.C. I don't. I have seen too many video clips of TV broadcasts taken that day, heard too much first-hand testimony from people who were present that day, seen too many reports of the physical evidence, and heard expert testimony from too many dissenting experts, to accept the government story as valid pretext for wars that were in the planning stages before the planes crashed. I believe some within the government participated knowledgeably, at a minimum, in a coverup of the truth, if not directly in the design and management of the exercise. "Your mileage may vary."
Further, I believe the purpose of dragging this nation into various wars has as much to do with completely reversing the Revolution, and bringing America completely to heel, by impoverishing us, while using the claimed security needs of each successive war to ratchet the enhanced anti-constitutional executive powers to such a level, that some future outrage will be used to spring on us the full array of police state mechanisms that have been in preparation since the 1970's. People behind razor wire and under machineguns, can yell all they want about their stolen liberties, until they run out of breath -- to no effect.

Preparing for the Police State
As one who is dismayed by the decline of sovereignty, liberty, and prosperity in my nation, I have been trying to assemble a coherent point of view from the political/economic/social facts and causes of the last few years. Sufficeth it to say that I have concluded that both Democrat and Republican parties equally share the blame -- the Democrats, largely for adhering to their political principles, the Republicans, largely for abandoning theirs -- for the impending economic collapse and likely resultant civil strife.
I hesitate to term such strife "civil war," because I hope the contending factions -- America's Black, White, and Hispanic cultures -- may yet come to their senses, and realize that blaming and fighting each other will only strengthen the hand of those whose long term moves have been to set them against each other for fun and profit, but strife there will be.
When large numbers of people, whose major economic choices have been predicated on a falsely portrayed stable and growing economy, begin to lose first their high-wage jobs, then their cars, finally their houses, there will be a reaction beyond mere despair and self-blame. The jobs of citizens have been "outsourced' to foreign lands, and the replacement lower-wage jobs to which they might have resorted, have been largely "insourced" to outlaw migrants.
These latter have been all but formally invited by traitorous federal, state, and local governments, which have compelled us citizens to cover through taxation, all of the other living costs that the employers of "those who only want to do the jobs that Americans won't do," can escape paying under such wink-and-nod law enforcement, and hence can add to their "bottom lines." Such invitees can hardly be expected to behave as unentitled to the modest incomes and social benefits they receive, having been taught since childhood that the poverty they must leave home to escape is, in some unexplained way, our fault.
Not to put too fine a point on it, the radical Democrats have used the resultant social destabilization and crime to accuse the average American of undeserved wealth, "laziness" and "racism", and to call for expanded social programs. The neocon Republicans have used it for expanding the presidentially-declared war and growing the profits of a few selected insider corporations. The "moderates" of both parties have "gone along for the ride," fearing criticism from presstitutes controlled by the two extremes.
Meanwhile, the nation has become well beyond broke. In addition to the acknowledged "national debt" of merely $9.4 Trillion (~ $30,000 per capita.) I don't know about you, but if pressed for "my share" (and that of my wife), to save our lives, I suppose we could scrape that much together, but it would leave us indefinitely continued in employment, just as we are trying to retire.
There are worse things, of course. Like figuring out how to help my kids and grandkids, who haven't had the time to accumulate "their shares" of the "national debt." And when one begins to add in at least a portion of "Social(ist In)Security," and of "Medi(s)care," plus other federal retirement schemes -- civil service, railroad, and CONgressional (estimated to total somewhere between $50 and $90 Trillion) there simply isn't enough total value in the nation's assets to "pay off" the $300K per capita. Re-fi anyone?
Of course "we" are putatively "the world's only superpower," and "we" could tell most of our creditors some version of what "we" in effect told most of the nations to whom "we" now owe it, "Use our dollar to conduct business or we will come to your country, rape your daughters, and kill you." Most of them might be intimidated enough to merely gripe and take whatever payments "we" send -- most, but not all. Such an offer might not fly at all in a large, recently industrialized nation that has a 25% surplus of young, horny dudes over daughters.
Of course, "our" government can probably once more arrange to get China (or whoever else refuses to just shut up and go away) to fire the first shot, placing the blame on "the enemy," whereupon WDII will have successfully given birth to WWIII, but it's not likely to do us, and our kids (or them and their kids, for that matter) any lasting good.
Meantime, "success" in these pre-choreographed World Wars (whatever that may mean in a thermonuclear context) usually goes to those who can manufacture their way to victory -- which usually means those who can afford to manufacture their way to victory, which usually means whoever can borrow enough to afford to manufacture, ... etc.
But since wars are usually arranged to enable the creditors of excessive national debt to collect on their foreclosures, I'd be willing to bet that sufficient offers of further credit might be rather few and pricey for "us." At last count, America's manufactures were about a 20% shadow of their former selves, with some essential industries now moved entirely abroad, and the remaining few trained employees scattered and otherwise employed.
A local proud neocon (and social Darwinist) radio talkstitute was loudly opining this evening, that anyone who ever gets sweet-talked or tricked into a sucker deal bears the full responsibility of covering his end of the deal, up to and including submitting to full-on chattel slavery, if that is what it takes to "pay off" -- the perpetrator of the con who, as "smart businessman," is incapable of blame.
According to his doctrine, it is inevitably your fault alone, if you believed the lies you were told from the cradle up, even if those who inculcated them in you were as ignorant of the facts as you, and if, on the basis of an intergenerational con game, you were suckered into decades-long deals (e.g., buying an overpriced house, working a suddenly "outsourced" trade, accepting a "retirement package") you eventually could no longer sustain, once those who had conned you, had (ever so smartly) pulled the economic rug out from under you.
Naturally, he is more than proud of a country in which such rules (ones he advocates -- currently in the ascendancy) allow smart businessmen -- like, presumably, himself -- to pick the bones of their "inferiors." Where else could he do so well?
Since the guidance of the nation has long been in the hands of power-trippers left and right, we have lost virtually all of our rights, and exercise such freedom of action as we do, more by virtue of governmental slack -- the calm before the oncoming storm -- than by explicit and scrupulous governmental recognition of the Rights of Man.
Spokesmouths of the neocons (e.g., General Tommy Franks) have been at pains in past years, to explain that the next "terrorist attack" on American soil will spell the formal end of our remaining "constitutional" liberties, under the currently unenforced provisions of the Military Commissions Act, the PATRIOT Act II, and the yet unused capabilities of FEMA. I took him as "not kidding." There is also little likelihood, if (by the Grace of Diebold) the incipient dictatorship is yielded to the radical left, that such plans will be more than slightly re-tailored.

The jobs of citizens have been "outsourced' to foreign lands, and the replacement lower-wage jobs to which they might have resorted, have been largely "insourced" to outlaw migrants.
These latter have been all but formally invited by traitorous federal, state, and local governments, which have compelled us citizens to cover through taxation, all of the other living costs that the employers of "those who only want to do the jobs that Americans won't do," can escape paying under such wink-and-nod law enforcement, and hence can add to their "bottom lines." Such invitees can hardly be expected to behave as unentitled to the modest incomes and social benefits they receive, having been taught since childhood that the poverty they must leave home to escape is, in some unexplained way, our fault.
Not to put too fine a point on it, the radical Democrats have used the resultant social destabilization and crime to accuse the average American of undeserved wealth, "laziness" and "racism", and to call for expanded social programs. The neocon Republicans have used it for expanding the presidentially-declared war and growing the profits of a few selected insider corporations. The "moderates" of both parties have "gone along for the ride," fearing criticism from presstitutes controlled by the two extremes.
Meanwhile, the nation has become well beyond broke. In addition to the acknowledged "national debt" of merely $9.4 Trillion (~ $30,000 per capita.) I don't know about you, but if pressed for "my share" (and that of my wife), to save our lives, I suppose we could scrape that much together, but it would leave us indefinitely continued in employment, just as we are trying to retire.
There are worse things, of course. Like figuring out how to help my kids and grandkids, who haven't had the time to accumulate "their shares" of the "national debt." And when one begins to add in at least a portion of "Social(ist In)Security," and of "Medi(s)care," plus other federal retirement schemes -- civil service, railroad, and CONgressional (estimated to total somewhere between $50 and $90 Trillion) there simply isn't enough total value in the nation's assets to "pay off" the $300K per capita. Re-fi anyone?
Of course "we" are putatively "the world's only superpower," and "we" could tell most of our creditors some version of what "we" in effect told most of the nations to whom "we" now owe it, "Use our dollar to conduct business or we will come to your country, rape your daughters, and kill you." Most of them might be intimidated enough to merely gripe and take whatever payments "we" send -- most, but not all. Such an offer might not fly at all in a large, recently industrialized nation that has a 25% surplus of young, horny dudes over daughters.
Of course, "our" government can probably once more arrange to get China (or whoever else refuses to just shut up and go away) to fire the first shot, placing the blame on "the enemy," whereupon WDII will have successfully given birth to WWIII, but it's not likely to do us, and our kids (or them and their kids, for that matter) any lasting good.
Meantime, "success" in these pre-choreographed World Wars (whatever that may mean in a thermonuclear context) usually goes to those who can manufacture their way to victory -- which usually means those who can afford to manufacture their way to victory, which usually means whoever can borrow enough to afford to manufacture, ... etc.
But since wars are usually arranged to enable the creditors of excessive national debt to collect on their foreclosures, I'd be willing to bet that sufficient offers of further credit might be rather few and pricey for "us." At last count, America's manufactures were about a 20% shadow of their former selves, with some essential industries now moved entirely abroad, and the remaining few trained employees scattered and otherwise employed.
A local proud neocon (and social Darwinist) radio talkstitute was loudly opining this evening, that anyone who ever gets sweet-talked or tricked into a sucker deal bears the full responsibility of covering his end of the deal, up to and including submitting to full-on chattel slavery, if that is what it takes to "pay off" -- the perpetrator of the con who, as "smart businessman," is incapable of blame.
According to his doctrine, it is inevitably your fault alone, if you believed the lies you were told from the cradle up, even if those who inculcated them in you were as ignorant of the facts as you, and if, on the basis of an intergenerational con game, you were suckered into decades-long deals (e.g., buying an overpriced house, working a suddenly "outsourced" trade, accepting a "retirement package") you eventually could no longer sustain, once those who had conned you, had (ever so smartly) pulled the economic rug out from under you.
Naturally, he is more than proud of a country in which such rules (ones he advocates -- currently in the ascendancy) allow smart businessmen -- like, presumably, himself -- to pick the bones of their "inferiors." Where else could he do so well?
Since the guidance of the nation has long been in the hands of power-trippers left and right, we have lost virtually all of our rights, and exercise such freedom of action as we do, more by virtue of governmental slack -- the calm before the oncoming storm -- than by explicit and scrupulous governmental recognition of the Rights of Man.
Spokesmouths of the neocons (e.g., General Tommy Franks) have been at pains in past years, to explain that the next "terrorist attack" on American soil will spell the formal end of our remaining "constitutional" liberties, under the currently unenforced provisions of the Military Commissions Act, the PATRIOT Act II, and the yet unused capabilities of FEMA. I took him as "not kidding." There is also little likelihood, if (by the Grace of Diebold) the incipient dictatorship is yielded to the radical left, that such plans will be more than slightly re-tailored.

A Fairy Tale
Once upon a time, there was a country where the people had no problems. Well, that’s not exactly true -- they had problems -- but none they couldn’t solve by themselves … until the Prostiticians got involved.
The Prostiticians studied the situation very carefully. "If they don’t have problems, we’ve got a problem!" said one. "If this keeps up, we'll be out of business," whined another. "If this keeps up, we’ll have to get honest jobs," whimpered a third. "Let’s go ask the Lawiars for advice." So that is what they did.
The Lawiars reflected on how their business had dwindled, with people solving their own problems, and they put on their thinking caps. "Think, Lawiars!" implored the Prostiticians. "Tax your brains!"
"That’s it!" cried the Lawiars. "Tax their brains."
"Okay, but we'll need a good excu… uh, reason," said the Prostiticians. "Do you have one?"
"No" said the Lawiars, "maybe the Banksters have one. Let's ask them."
"Simple as compound interest," said the Banksters. "Borrow lots of money from us, buy the votes of the people with it, tax them to repay it -- with interest, of course, since we don't work for free, ya know. Before you know it, the people will be over their heads in debt, blaming each other, begging you to solve their problems. You can start wars to distract them, buy their votes with "bailouts", the Lawiars will be up to their eyeballs in lucrative lawsuits, the Justitutes can reverse the Constitution, and we'll be rolling in profits."
"Such a deal!" exclaimed the Lawiars. "Genius!" proclaimed the Prostiticians. "Do you Banksters have that much money to loan?"
"We have pens, printing presses, and computers" said one Bankster. "We know how to write, print, and push buttons on a keyboard," said another. "Bottom line, we can fake it," said a third. "All we need is for you to pass a law making our 'money' the only money the Sheeple are allowed use. Ya think you Lawiars can write up a law for that?"
"Piece o'cake!" said one Lawiar. "Can o' corn!" said another. "Easy-peasy," said a third.
"Well, don't get carried away with simplicity," said the Banksters in unison. "We don't want the people figuring it out before they're over their heads in debt."
"Trust us!" said the Lawiars.
"Just like we trust the Prostiticians," said the Banksters, "sign here."
"How much can we borrow?" asked the Prostiticians.
"As much as you can squeeze out of the Sheeple, minus our interest," said the Banksters. "But you'll need to start small, so they don't smell a rat," they advised. "Get our Presstitutes to help sell the idea."
"We’ll need to raise the next generation of Sheepizens to know their places, but not too much else," said the Prostiticians. "Let's give the schools some of this borrowed money, so we can tell them what not to teach, and how to not teach it. Our Professtitutes at the Universities can tell their Stoogents how brilliant our new idea is, and the Treacher's Union can muzzle any Treacher who might teach kids stuff they shouldn't know, and drug any kids who show signs of figuring it out."
"What if some Sheepizen objects about, you know … the Constitution?" asked a nervous Prostitician.
"That g__d___ piece of paper?" sneered one. "Idiot!" said another. "Don't be stupid -- remember we get to pick the Justitutes from a list of Lawiars." reminded a third. "It's all under control."
So they all breathed a collective sigh of relief. The Presstitutes made up any "news" they were told to write. The Prostiticians made laws to let the Banksters create the Feudal Reserve System to lend more "money" than anyone could ever repay, and the Infernal Revenue Service to tax it back, and soon had their Sheeple firmly saddled with unending problems. The Lawiars had all the lawsuits and trials they could handle, in courts run by their brother and sister Justitutes. Professtitutes and Treachers were well paid to keep the kids from learning too much. The Banksters were rolling in obscene profits, and would soon own everything in sight. And the Sheeple never did figure out why they couldn't get out of debt.
So they all lived happily ever after, at least until the Sheeple no longer had enough brains to tax, so they couldn‘t both pay taxes … and eat. Then, the Prostiticians, Banksters, Lawiars, Justitutes, Presstitutes, Professtitutes, and Treachers all had a big barbecue.
Moral: If problems are what you want, problems are what you can get, especially when you're dealing with Sheeple.

No More Mr. Nice Guy
Q: What’s the greatest political failing of American voters -- ignorance or apathy?
A : I don’t know, and I don’t care.
These are bitter words for me. Although I sometimes seem a pessimist to those who know me, I am usually upbeat about many things, e.g., work, learning, exercise, non-coercive human interaction.
I have even striven to persuade some sheepizens of this once (and future) worthy nation to somehow pull their collective head out of their collective, er, … TV set, long enough to realize that their government, money, and fate are in the hands of their worst enemies, and that they had best take them back into their own hands, lest they die broke, hungry slaves.
Alas, they would no longer know what to do with them if they did. The vast majority are sheeple. Their ignorance is as incurable as it is willful; it’s what makes them sheeple. All they want is to be entertained and directed without the need to think, fed enough to grow large without effort, sheared without having to admit it, and when time comes to feed the shepherd, swiftly terminated without embarrassment.
We’re not quite down to, "every man for himself," yet, but close. It’s more like, everyone for his/her own self, family, and friends – the few likeminded people you can trust when the razor wire goes up, which doesn’t leave most of us with a lot of options. We are now living the Weimar Republic experience, all too soon to be followed by the Fourth Reich experience, barring Celestial Intervention.
The sheepizen next door may be a nice enough guy in good times, but when he (not to mention thousands like him) loses his job in this "robust" economy, or his government check fails to cover his ever-inflated survival costs, how much do you really want him to know about your food/water/medicine/fuel/ammo stashes? (You do have them – right?)
Regardless, I have given up trying to persuade sheeple to be sovereign Citizens – it only annoys them, and will eventually bring me attention I don’t want.
